Computers do not need maintenance as your car does. However a few simple rules apply to keep your PC running at its best. Only install programs that you really need. Often it is the number of programs that will slow a computer down.

Remove programs that you know you do not need any more. If you cannot remove a program, this usually means that is classified as malicious.
